Uncle Okey was always a voice of wisdom for my siblings and I;
a support to mum at many times.
Aunty Ngozi - I know my God will shortly turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy.
Hang onto those joyful memories with Uncle. They will soothe in this time.
And hold on to the promises of God, which are Yes & Amen - They will give you hope for Tomorrow.
Psalm 68: 5
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
is God in his holy dwelling.
Love
Ijay

Okey and I were together in the Perm Sec's Office in Abuja. Each work day, Okey would go round greeting colleagues and finding out how the weekend or previous day was spent. He was very easy to work with. He has now gone the way of all mortals. We commend his friendly soul to God and take consolation that he left photocopies of himself behind in his offspring.
To his lovely wife, Ngozi and promising children, please take heart. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the great name of God. May He now look after you and give you the grace and fortitude to bear this huge loss. It shall be well.

Okey Nwa Anigbo,
My heart aches from the news of your death. I shudder to think that you are no longer with us. You were a very good man, whom I am very proud and privileged to have known. My brother and friend, I miss you terribly. I will forever treasure the memories of the times we spent together when you were in
They may have cut you down physically, but your spirit is unassailable. You will live on in your children and wife. Your legacy will be kept alive by the wonderful family that you raised and the good company you kept.
Ngoo, you are a woman of faith. Times like this test our faith, but you must remain strong and faithful. God will be your strength and pillar. Only He will comfort you and protect you and your four children. I look at the wonderful family that you raised with Okey and feel very proud of you. Odii, my goddaughter Nkem Oma-nma, Chineme, Oluchi, may the good Lord console you and give you wisdom to carry on. Ngoo, please remain strong for the children and the rest of the family. God will see you through. The bond that my family and yours share will remain strong and unbroken.
Farewell, I must bid you my friend Okey, though my heart is full of tears. See you on the other side where we shall meet and part no more.
